This week Disco reviews his homework given to him by Mouth Dork: The Brood! This is early Cronenberg body horror starring the great Oliver Reed that features some pretty unsettling moments.
This week in dork we take a look back at a weekend filled with horror. The Alamo Drafthouse in Winchester had there first annual Psychorama Horror Film Festival hosted by Psycho Cinema's very own Faye Guerra! The Dorks attempt to resume a sense of normalcy post San Diego Comic-Con. Normalcy being shots of rum and lots of recording. This week Turtle talks Jason Bourne. Wife Dork recaps the tail end of her time in San Diego with a trip to a live taping of the Put Your Hands Together Podcast. Mouth Dork takes a moment to reflect on the extraordinary life of his Grandpa. He also recounts he and Wife Dork's final west coast adventure with a trek (pun intended) to the iconic Vasquez Rocks. Disco reluctantly recaps his viewing of DC's highly anticipated animated feature The Killing Joke. But the only thing Disco really wants to talk about is the Alamo Drafthouse's special screening of only his favorite film of all time, that's right: Mad Max Fury Road. Just in time for his birthday! We of course then take a few questions before wrapping up.
Now that we've gotten Comic-Con out of the way(has we?) MouthDork can resume his regularly scheduled homework! Next up: Ted Demme's Life-starring Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy. MouthDork and TurtleDork discuss this often overlooked comedy gem from the 90's.
